My drawing isn't influenced by any of these Anime or American Comic style.

I love it if I could draw something like Norman Rockwell! Too bad my hands are too limited! I wish I could draw ... realistically!

What a funny commentary on anime, but at the same time even American cartoons can be formulaic as anime can be. Even as a kid I remember the big muscle bound dudes with magic swords ( or capes as in the case of Superman and Batman), (mostly blond haired) busty heroines with magic pets, and also overly cute little pastel colored animals who spoke softly to the human characters in cartoons here in the U.S.

BTW the big eyes and small bodies of female anime characters isn't really a...

I am writing of rules of anime.
As for me, I am hating of anime rulebook.

Recently, someone told me that she likes Anime and Manga because they are avenues for limitless imagination, and without rules.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, because my own experience is utterly opposite: Anime and Manga are quite possibly the least creative, most rule-infested genre of art. I can speak with some authority on this subject because I've...

Perhaps as Sailor Moon/Usagi has experience with fighting aliens she has been chose to be a M.I.B, but because aliens are not suspicious of a girl in a Japanese school uniform she is wearing her disguise and that gun is actually a photon laser shooter.

A week ago I bought some metal "Sailon Moons" pencil cases in Chinatown (in Los Angeles), and found this weird drawing of Usagi posing with a gun in the inside tray of the one pencil case. As I was going to give the pencil case to a friend's niece for school I took the "un-politically correct" image, and the tray it was on, out of the case. Now I wonder when Usagi joined the NRA.
