LF: I knew the ol' lamb's blood on the door trick would come in handy again someday.
China has the best professor Plum. Bow-tie, mussy hair, dazed-looking if not actually stoned. Sums up the entire teaching experience:

The big question, as far as the Japanese set goes, is how does one actually kill with a trunk? A shoe? Is this some kind of Ninja trick that westerners don't get? As I remember, in the American set these were a wrench and a candlestick. I should probably check with Harry about anything to do with combat, but if I really had to beat someone's brains out, I'd go with a candlestick over a trunk...
Also, I note that the American cards shown (you have to click on "International Page" a the bottom) are not the same as the ones I used as a kid. Those were very cartoonish. Miss Scarlet looked like Judy Jetsen in a red dress. Professor Plum looked like Mr. Magoo after he came out of the closet. I'm not sure when they changed, but these are different. Interestingly, in the Chinese version, Miss Scarlet is western, but in the American version (and many others) she is Chinese--sometimes called Miss Ming.
Mr. Green always looks shady, although I notice that he's occasionally a minister! Mrs. White is usually a menial. Colonel Mustard typically looks like a British "empire man."

Oh, and were Mr. Body and Dr. Black the same person? Mr. Body is the guy who get's killed, right? But somehow I also remember a Dr. Black. Maybe my memory is just being quirky. I haven't played Clue since 1968 at the latest. Anyone know?
