Something of epic proportions...THE ODYSSEY. If I leave out a few major players, or cast wrongly, remember: Even Homer nods.

Odysseus: HPF. Crafty, wise, good with weapons AND the ladies. Don't let him go out for a gallon of milk, because he could end up in Cancun.
Penelope: Mary Brighton. Resourceful and patient, able to put up with a roomful of noisy suitors and a big mess.
Telemachus: CH. Handsome young hero goes out on a fact-finding mission to see where Dad went.
Athene: Only jmcc would do for the goddess of wisdom. She's tricky but loyal.
Nestor: Wise and powerful. Did you know he's Lord of Chariots? (It's only mentioned about 1,000 times.) Who else but our Lord of Fahruz?
Menelaus: WG is the Spartan king with a fund of information and stories, plus a beautiful wife.
Zeus and Poseidon are played by the all-powerful EWM in the double role of a lifetime. Quick, EWM, into your Zeus suit!
Circe: The role of magical enchantress could only be played by GSidhe. People who don't like red sauce get the pig treatment.
Calypso: LeB is the hostess with the mostest.
Nausicaa: SH. When a naked man comes out of nowhere, she's the only one who is able to face him down.
Antinous: MFP. Forwardness doesn't always bring the expected results.
Demodocus: The tuneful bard of this epic is naturally played by the tuneful bard of Space Patrol, LG 0] .
Eurycleia: MN. What the hey, I AM typecast.
Eumaeus: CB. Don't let him fool you. Has his own prerogatives and he's a scrapper when he needs to be. Can swing a sword or fling a spear with the best of them.
Irus: stevanh. Watch out for dogs and King Echetus the Ogre. By story's end, we have a better idea what's under his kilt--or rather, what WAS under it.
=^_^=
