Once you make a post, it shows what your post count total was at that time , and it doesnt change. For instance, say you post a reply to a thread, and have a 5000 post count. It shows 5000 only on that post. Your next post will show 5001, for example, and all other posts will be unchanged.

Take a look at some of the older threads, you'll see that everyone's post count is lower than what it is now.

What I mean by current total, is that the forum automatically updates every one of your replies to say your most current post count. So if you post a reply to a thread and have a 5000 post count, all previous posts will increase the total to 5000. (This is the system that most other forums use, but we don't. I suspect that there were a few older posts that were accidentally changed to this system when Yuku was first introduced, and weren't changed back).
