I'd still like to see 5 pictures this week. Gericault did a nice watercolor of his hand as he was on his deathbed, and a critically ill Durer made a pen drawing of himself pointing to his spleen (with the annotation "This is where it hurts").

The first one (set on the red drape) is remarkable for it's reflective quality! I NEVER got the hang of that with oils. Everything always turned out
muddy and opaque. I just suck with oils.

The method I find most effective for reflections is to roughly block in all the different shapes with the appropriate color, then go in and blend together
afterwards. The muddy effect comes from layering the reflected colors over the reflected surface, which causes the two colors to mix too much. Some layering
can be done in very small amounts, assuming the base layers are not too thick. It's a great technique for acrylic though, since it dries so fast.

I'm vote shoe too! I have curious to see Spoony achieve of leather texture. This a surface not fruit or glass or cloth and a so.
Of these your post I'm favorite lumpy white gourd. But I'm opinion you are some success with reduce it brush strokes a cup. Here I been had thinking: Brush stroke they are Spoony style, and I'm enjoy to see. But it wisdoms you for ability in other wise. All ways is a good when her style is your choose, not just this-a-way-onlys-I'm-can-do. Are you know the work is paint Edward Loper? Loper examples me a favorite.

I am a like especial pepper, but white gourd is also nice. I don't see problem with brush strokes if you are make them work for you. I will looking up
Loper. One favorite of me is Georgio Morandi. Now I am looked up Loper and see he very color, nice work! Morandi very different, if you not knowing him work,
