I was visiting as gun shop about a month ago and an old guy(redneck geezer) was railing about the BATF and FBI "massacre" at Ruby Ridge. He mentioned the FBI sniper, Agent Lon Horiuchi, who shot and killed Randy Weaver's wife.

He referred the the Agent as a "half-caste Chink B-stard"

I told him that Horiuchi was a Japanese name and that he'd probably be offended be referred to as a 'Chink' but that it was better than referring to him as a Korean.

He said, "Okay, whatever...so he's a half-caste b-stard."

I told him my kids were half-cast too but at least when I committed miscegenation I was fortunate to have at least given my future progeny the benefit of married parents.

He said' "Huh?"

I let it go at that. He is otherwise a fairly decent fellow.

Coffee. You worked with TSA for awhile. What more can you do to beef up the security here? And then there's the horror stories (so I'm told) of people misrepresenting their gender on the internet. I am awfully suspicious of a few members whose occasional peccadilloes seem hormonal or tied to the phases of the moon. I am not opposed to non-guys here but rules are rules and if one won't or can't enforce them then we become a nation of scofflaws and chaos ensues. See my point? I mean if this is a "GUYS ONLY" place we should be able to stick french fries in our ears or nose without some judgmental "Hrumph!". Don't get me wrong, I like to be ogled. Why, sometimes before going to the mall I put on a pair of my old size 38 levi's and 2X T-shirt instead of my regular 40 trousers and 2XLT T-shirt so that I can deliberately drop pennies on the floor of the promenade and bend over and pick them up. When I hear the ladies gasp and the small children crying it makes me feel like a guy's guy. Better than viagra. Cheaper too.

You've already beefed up the security...we're private here, right, Coffee?

Thank you, CB, for opening a thread for literary and visual creativity and allowing us guys to sink to our lowest common denominator. I am starting to tear up and must excuse myself to go blow my nose. I think there is part of a fry up there.
